This protocol makes 1000ml of 40X TAE.

Materials

193.8 gm Tris (Final Concentration 1.6M)

108.9gm NaAc.3H20 (Final conc 0.8M)

14.9gm EDTA Na2.2H20 (Final Conc 40mM)

 

Dissolve the above reagents in  ~ 700ml dH20

Adjust pH to 7.6 with HCl or Acetic acid

Bring volume to 1000ml
